HELP OUR INCREDIBLE DOGS CHANGE THE WORLD FOR TASMANIANS WITH DISABILITY
Guide Dogs Tasmania is the only organisation raising and training life-changing Guide and Assistance Dogs, right here, right now, for Tasmanians.
And as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic highlights for us all the importance of community connection, we are more determined than ever to continue this work to ensure people with low vision, disability and illness can live independent lives of their own choosing.
But it costs $50,000 to raise and train each and every one of these extraordinary dogs and we urgently need to raise $150,000 to make up for lost funding from the necessary cancellation and postponement of fundraising events and our iconic Collection Dogs Program.
And because we Tasmanians look after each other when the going gets tough, we are asking for your help right now, in these toughest of times.
Donate quickly and safely right now, or host your own Paw Party and get together with your friends and pets online to raise funds, to help ensure the 29 dogs and pups in our training programs can reach their potential to transform the lives of people in our own community.
